What if I have an HOA?
If your home is part of a Homeowners Association, it’s important to get approval for your deck project as HOAs often have specific guidelines. We can assist you by providing detailed plans and documentation for your HOA submission, and we’ll work with you to ensure that your new deck adheres to the necessary regulations.
When will my materials be delivered?
Once we have finalized your design and you’ve approved the project, we will schedule the delivery of materials to coincide with the start date of construction. This helps to minimize any inconvenience to you and ensures that we have everything on hand when we begin work.
What if I have a sprinkler system with lines running in the area of the new deck?
Before construction begins, please inform us about any sprinkler systems or underground utilities in the area. We will work with you to identify and, if necessary, reroute any sprinkler lines to prevent damage during the deck building process.
What if I want to make changes or additions to my project after I have signed my contract?
We understand that ideas evolve, and you may wish to make changes after seeing your project come to life. While we are flexible and willing to discuss alterations, please note that changes may affect the overall cost and timeline of your project. We’ll provide you with an updated estimate and contract amendment to reflect any adjustments to the scope of work.
How long does it generally take to build a custom deck?
The duration of the build depends on the complexity and size of your deck. We can provide a more accurate timeline once we know the specifics of your project. Rest assured, our one-job-at-a-time policy means that we’ll be dedicated to completing your deck as efficiently as possible without compromising on quality.
Will I be provided with a warranty for my new deck?
Yes, we stand behind our workmanship with a comprehensive warranty. Details of the warranty will be outlined in your contract. Additionally, many of the premium decking materials we use come with their own manufacturer warranties for added peace of mind.
Do you use hidden fasteners?
Yes, each brand of composite & PVC decking has a hidden fastening system that is recommended for installation of their decking product. We install hidden fastening systems per manufacturer’s instructions. Western Red Cedar decking, however, is surface screwed.
